Brittany’s practice focuses on corporate law, including unclaimed property law and advertising and marketing law, and trust and estate planning, including trust and probate estate administration and litigation. Brittany is committed to helping individuals and businesses to achieve their goals by providing each client with tailored advice and representation to meet their needs.

As part of Brittany’s corporate practice, she often serves as outside counsel to privately held companies. Her experience includes assisting businesses with general planning, including regulatory compliance, entity formation, mergers, acquisitions, contract formation and negotiation, and succession planning.

Brittany also serves as outside counsel to privately and publicly held companies regarding their unclaimed property, marketing, and advertising. Brittany’s unclaimed property practice includes advising clients on how to comply with the unique landscape of unclaimed property laws. Brittany’s advertising and marketing practice includes ensuring companies comply with the ever-changing advertising, marketing, and privacy regulations impacting companies who interact with consumers.

As part of Brittany’s trust and estate practice, she guides clients through the process of establishing and updating their estate plan, helping with disputes between fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and family members, and guiding families through the probate, estate and trust administration process.

In addition to her legal practice, Brittany is also highly involved in the legal community, serving as the Chair of the Columbus Bar Association Estate Planning and Trust Committee and on the Scholarship Committee for the Unclaimed Property Professionals Organization.
