Chris focuses his practice on directors' and officers' liability insurance and insurance coverage litigation. In Chris's practice, he serves as coverage and claims monitoring counsel for primary and excess insurers in a wide array of complex litigation ranging from high-profile cases against directors and officers of public companies to claims against private and non-profit entities and their principals.  Chris also works with oil and gas companies whose lease interests are subject to foreclosure or bankruptcy proceedings to protect their interests.  Prior to joining the firm, Chris was a litigation associate at Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP in Columbus, Ohio and an analyst at Western Reserve Partners LLC, a boutique investment bank, in Cleveland, Ohio.  At Vorys, Chris focused on lender liability, collections, and general commercial litigation.  He also advised banking clients on compliance with state and federal regulations.
