Our summer associates have the opportunity to work on sophisticated and complex projects from our diverse practice areas. Projects typically include legal research and writing, drafting communications with clients, preparation of pleadings and public policy advocacy. Our summer associates attend client meetings, team strategy sessions, depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings, in addition to social events.

Qualifications

Eligible applicants are current law students who have completed at least one year of law school. Ideal applicants are students that work well independently and have a demonstrated interest in private practice in Ohio. Applicants should have excellent oral and written communication skills. Academic achievement is expected, but class rank is not determinative. We value diverse, intelligent, high-character individuals with unique backgrounds who have the necessary skill and work ethic to positively contribute to our firm's culture and growth.

Benefits: We provide our summer associates with a supportive learning environment and an opportunity to demonstrate that they deserve an offer to join Bailey Cavalieri upon graduation from law school.
