Bailey Cavalieri LLC is seeking an associate to join its Corporate practice group. This associate will have the opportunity to work on traditional corporate and business projects as well as  post-closing M&A disputes nationwide and  pre-transaction underwriting and risk assessment with respect to transaction risk insurance. The ideal candidate will have 2-4+ years of experience handling complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, business formation, corporate governance, and contract matters.

Essential Qualifications: 

  • Strong academic credentials with an undergraduate degree in finance or accounting
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Additional Valuable Credentials or Experience

  • Work experience in accounting or finance
  • CPA, CFA, or other accounting/valuation credentials
  • Experigence with post-M&A legal matters involving purchase price adjustments or valuation of damages

Compensation is competitive and will account for relevant experience and credentials.
